Why do I need to maintain my paddocks?

To ensure good quality pasture with adequate grass for a healthy and content horse the land will require a level of tender loving care. It needs to be nurtured. The cost of maintaining pasture varies but is often more than compensated by better equine health and lower feed costs. A pasture maintenance program is highly recommended and should be combined with regular paddock rotation where possible and choosing the right fertiliser is also very important.
