OJM Farm Contractors are a fully licensed and authorised waste carrier. We provide a waste transfer ticket as required by law.

Since July 2006 agricultural waste can no longer be disposed of by incineration. The agricultural and equine community have a legal duty of care to dispose of waste legally. All carriers must have a valid waste carriers license. If you are unsure of your obligations, please contact us and we will assist you.

​​The types of waste we accept for recycling are:

• Haylage and silage wrap
• Clean rigid plastic containers such as supplement pots, containers and spray bottles from grooming products with nozzles removed.
• Shavings bags
• Dry cardboard and paper feed bags
• Plastic feed bags
• Net wrap
• Woven polypropylene bags (fertiliser and seed bags)
• Baler twine
• Silage sheets
• Aluminium, steel and other metals

At our site, we sort your waste ready for transportation to the processing factories. At these factories, plastics are washed, shredded and pelletised before being manufactured into pit liners, refuse sacks, garden furniture, fencing materials, traffic cones and plastic lumbar. Many local authorities are now using the plastic furniture created from your agricultural and equine waste in recreational areas as they are durable and do not require painting.

Time is precious, we understand that, which is why we offer farmers and equestrians a collection service. You can book your collection or delivery via the website order page, telephone, email or text. Prices start at £42 +VAT per bag collected.
